In this picture there are a number of episodes of the story. Reading from the left we see the young prince saying farewell to his father. To the right of the flagpole he meets Ursula for the first time. At the extreme right the couple say goodbye to Ursula's father. In the background we see them boarding their ship with a long line of virgins, and setting off on their pilgrimage. |
